These are the terms, conditions, policies and disclaimer pertaining to our on line shopping business. These will not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. They are designed to set out clearly our responsibilities as a retailer and your rights as a consumer.
Privacy Policy
At Shoe Rack we are committed to maintaining your privacy. Our privacy policy statement is given below. If we make any changes to the policy, we will notify you by updating this statement on our website.
All information collected by our company is strictly private and confidential and will not be forwarded to any third party. The information required is for delivery and billing use only and will not be used for any other purpose. We may also send you from time to time information by way of e mail about new products, sale stock, special offers, any promotions and future plans for our company Shoe Rack.
If at any stage you decide you no longer wish to receive information from us you can unsubscribe on our website.
You must be 16 years of age or older to register for the service or to purchase goods from our online store. By clicking on the resister button, you confirm to us that you are 16 years or older.
Purchasing Goods from our Online Store
All prices on our website are in Euro and inclusive of VAT @21%
To make purchases from our Online Store, the buyer will be required to register and provide personal details such as their real name, address, phone numbers, e mail address and any other information that may be required to successfully complete the order.
When products are ordered the buyer is required to provide payment details that are valid and correct and that you are the person referred to in the billing information section.
Prices on our site are subject to change without prior notice. Any sale or promotional offers that you become aware of after your purchase has been made cannot be applied to your order. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability of the product.
Once an order has been placed, we will send an e mail acknowledging the details of the order to the e mail address provided during checkout process.
We reserve the right not to accept the order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment or that the item is out of stock.
All prices shown on our site are in Euro. The prices of postage and packaging will be detailed before you enter your payment details. All payments must be made before the goods are despatched.
Payments can be made by Visa, Master Card, and Laser Card. The security of your credit card transactions on our site is important to us and is processed using a secure online payment system that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.
You can cancel your order by e mail (onlinestore@shoerack.ie) or by contacting our sales team on 018567062. This must be within 24hrs of the order being placed.
Delivery Policy
On receipt of payment clearance we will despatch your goods and will inform you by e mail.
All goods will be inspected by us before they are dispatched from our warehouse store.
Delivery will only be made to the cardholder’s registered address or place of work (if requested) which may need to be verified before despatch. We use An Post or a home delivery service. Please allow 5 / 7 working days as an estimated delivery time. Delivery charges will apply to all orders but at times may be subsidised by the company by way of promotional offers. The customer will be asked to sign for any goods delivered, at which point the responsibility of the goods passes to the customer.
If the goods are damaged in transit you must keep all packaging as this may be required when making any claim. It is incumbent on the customer to check the product and notify the company within 48 hrs if there is any problem with the goods delivered.
Return Policy
We hope you are delighted with your purchases and that the goods meet with your requirements. If for any reason you are unhappy you may return the goods to us in accordance with our return policy.
If after receiving the goods you decide you do not want them you have 14 days from delivery date to return them to us for a refund. All goods returned must be unworn and repacked in the original box with labels attached. Shoes must not be damaged or worn outside and no scuffing should appear on the sole. (It is advisable to try on shoes on carpeted area to avoid any damage to the sole) A copy of the receipt of purchase must also be included for a refund to be processed.
Return the goods to us by post using the removable pre-printed address label on the invoice and the security buy on Line Shoe Rack label supplied with the products. The return postage charge must be paid by the customer and this will not be refunded by the company unless the item is faulty. It is advisable that you insure the return parcel so it will be traceable as we will not be responsible for goods lost in the post.
The goods may also be returned to any of our stand alone Shoe Rack branches (click here for store location) throughout Ireland. However we cannot accept returns in any of our concessions stores. A refund can be made if returned to a store within 10 days of delivery, and only to the originally credit/bank card used for the online item purchase, excluding any postage charges incurred by us. It will be necessary to have the invoice/sales order issued with the goods to process a refund which we will complete after we inspect the returned item in the store. If you like we can offer you a gift voucher for the amount that can be used in any of our stand alone stores.
Exchanges
If you want to exchange the item you received for a different size or colour, please complete the details on the invoice and return it to us. You will need to keep a copy for your own records. Please note you can only make an exchange on the same item once. If you require a different item entirely we will refund the amount of original order and you will need to place a new order at www.shoerack.ie.You can also exchange the item in any of our stand alone Shoe Rack branches within 21 days of delivery.
Refunds
We can only refund to the card that you originally used for the purchase of goods returned to us. We do not refund any of the cost incurred in postage of the delivery or return.
Heel heights
The measurements for the shoe heel height are taken from the inside of the heel and are only an approximate guide to the size.
Products
We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on our website. However as the actual colours that you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
Sizes
All shoe sizes and measurements are in continental sizes and are as accurate as possible.
Offers and discount
All offers and discount applicable to your purchase need to be applied to your order at the time of checkout. Unfortunately any discounts that become available after your purchase cannot be applied to your order under any circumstance. Any other offers or promotions that are no longer running or valid cannot be applied to your order at the time of purchase or at any date thereafter.
